September 28, 2021 — The SunStream Business Services Board of Directors has named Daniel Ritch as Chief Executive Officer of SunStream Business Services effective October 25.
“We’re excited to have Daniel bring his extensive information technology experience to the greater Farm Credit family,” said Jeff Swanhorst, chair of the SunStream Board of Directors and CEO of AgriBank, a SunStream owner and customer. “After conducting a broad-based and comprehensive search, we are confident Daniel is the right fit to help us continue transforming our digital technology solutions.”
Ritch, of Plymouth, Minn., comes to SunStream from NorthMarq, where he has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer since 2019. His previous roles include Vice President Connected Service and Chief Information Officer at Honeywell Building Solutions from 2015-2019, Vice President/Chief Information Officer at Dura Automotive Systems from 2014-2015 and Executive Director of Information Technology at Magna Powertrain from 2012-2014. His earlier experience includes roles at Crane Co., Remy International, Inc., IBM and Perot Systems.
Ritch holds a Master of Science in Management/Marketing from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Science in History/Education from Eastern Michigan University. He completed Chief Information Officer Certification at the University of South Carolina Upstate and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Cole Orndorff, who has served as acting CEO since May 2021, will return full-time to his role as Vice President of Technology Delivery.
